Teresa Sdralevich

Teresa Sdralevich was born in Milan in 1969. After a master’s degree in political science at the University of Bologna and an internship in Paris, Teresa Sdralevich found her vocation in Brussels and more particularly at La Cambre where she discovered the poster, a medium that would accompany her throughout her career.
She worked for several years for Jean-Christophe Geluck’s agency, where she drew and designed dozens of book covers, posters and logos. At the same time, she began illustrating novels for young readers for Italian publishers and then moved on to other media such as picture books, press drawings and exhibition guides for children. She shares her practice by participating in international events, conducting workshops and organizing exhibitions.
As a poster artist, graphic designer, illustrator and screen printer, Teresa Sdralevich works exclusively on cultural, political and social themes. She is often cited as one of the most influential designers in the world.
