10eme Arte // Paysage en changement

The Brussels-based Italian-Spanish duo 10th Arte, formed by Elisa Sartori and Almudena Pano, use their imagination to stage the municipality of Neder-Over-Heembeek in their fresco entitled ‘Landscapes in Change’.
In this proposal, the duo 10th Arte focuses on the changes that the municipality of Neder-Over-Heembeek has undergone over the last few centuries. This traditionally provincial and rural area has become an urban and industrialised environment. Contrasts have beeń the essence of this municipality for years: thus, we discover in this work trees that become chimneys, fields that cohabit with city houses and the famous Meudon house next́ to a mill touching the canal.
