As part of the “La Belle Hip Hop” festival, which promotes the place of women on the hip-hop scene, and at the behest of the City of Brussels, three talented artists, Zouwi, Shiro and Iota, shared a wall in rue Vandenbranden. To reinforce this six-handed gesture further still, the fresco was created to mark International Women’s Day on the 8th March 2018. The result is a three-part fresco evoking different ways of expressing what it means to be a woman.
