Arnaud KOOL

“Arnaud Kool (1970), a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre (La Cambre National School of Visual Arts), is a painter and illustrator from Brussels.
Before starting his training and taking up painting, Arnaud Kool was part of a group of graffiti artists and walked around European capitals looking for the best spots, not without risk.
He then left the world of street art to concentrate on painting, but traces of his former world can still be seen in his creations.
Arnaud never really put away his spray cans, even when working with the famous Belgian leather brand Delvaux, for which he decorated a space at the sophisticated Dover Street Market in London. These commissions provide a framework for the artist to enhance his creativity for his own works.”*
