Fitore Alísdóttir Berisha

Fitore Alísdóttir Berisha is a Kosovar artist who is bringing a much-needed female perspective to the balkanic art world. Born in 1971 in Prishtina, she has been working in Kosovo and Iceland for the past 20 years. She is mainly focused on paintings, murals, and multimedia artwork. In 2003, the artist founded the organization Mural Art Group, which conceived several art projects to beautify the city.
