Olimpia Velasco

Olimpia Velasco is a visual artist who lives and works in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. She has a diploma in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and has obtained a doctorate from the same university and from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (Socrates scholarship). Olimpia Velasco has already taken part in numerous national and international exhibitions. The artist also creates in public spaces, offering thoughtful pieces, some of which are three-dimensional in format. She likes to tackle subjects associated with the Anthropocene era and with ecology, taking a consistently poetic approach.
