Tarik Bouanani is one of the three winners of the call for projects launched by the City of Brussels in July 2018 to decorate three public toilets. This type of project had already been launched in the past and was a great success. 13PULSIONS,, François Tusséki and Tarik Bouanani were chosen to decorate a toilet block at the foot of the Atomium, at the end of the Boulevard du Centenaire and at Place Anneessens.

For Tarik, the city is a never-ending source of inspiration. Constantly evolving, this infernal machine never ceases to create an infinite number of forms, images and objects. This work is made up of elements created by the city, its paths, passageways, buildings and vegetation. Like a city dweller, a walker or wanderer, the artist invites viewers to ramble, explore or lose themselves in the work.
