This fresco was created by Shiro to celebrate International Women’s Day and the “La Belle Hip Hop” women’s hip hop festival.
The Japanese-born artist was inspired by the “La Belle Hip Hop” slogan “Turning our differences into strength” when creating this work.  Four different women’s faces are depicted, each representing a different discipline in Hip Hop culture. They express their own strength, their passion for Hip Hop culture and their pride in being women.
