Laura Dauchet: Born in Bayonne in 1997, Laura Dauchet obtained her Bachelor at the Beaux Arts of Quimper in 2019, then her Master’s in Painting from ArBA-EsA in 2021. She now lives and works in Brussels. Her work as a painter is the result of a bulimic photographic interest in our nocturnal urban spaces. During her night-time wanderings, she captures all the lights, reflections and colours that evoke the funfair of her childhood. As well as analysing the aesthetics of the night, her work is tinged with a sociological approach, since the spaces she paints are associated with night-time policies that are different from daytime policies.Interested in the peripheral zones of the night, disorder, accumulation and triviality are essential ingredients in Laura’s painting.

Lives and works between Barcelona and Madrid.  Received her degree of Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree Teacher Training, specializing in Visual Arts at Universidad Complutense Madrid.
