This joint collaboration covers the side wall of ‘Kombi’, a bar located at 60, Rue Haute. The owner of the establishment called on PARCOURS Street Art to revitalise this side wall, which was initially home to a piece by the artist Obêtre. The work depicts objects that have fallen from the sky, scattered with slogans, some of which are typically Marollen, as demonstrated by the title of the fresco itself: “Lotsjmaghrust”, or “Leave me alone” in Marollen. A city in disarray, fragmented signage: everything here speaks of Brussels and its landscape. It’s also a reference to the Battle of Marolles, which took place in 1969.
