Originally from Argentina, Elian is a contemporary artist who, because of his dyslexia, has always struggled with writing. However, all these problems seem to magically disappear when he holds a can of paint in his hand and leaves his mark on walls the world over. Characterised by a close dialogue with the environment in which they are created, Elian’s works are composed of basic geometric elements and abstractions, and are influenced by architecture, climate and current socio-political situations. The city is his favourite theme. Through his work, the artist seeks to open up a dialogue on themes as varied as social problems and the poetry of the habitat in which he creates.
